Udaipur: As part of the 70th District-Level Sports Competitions, 16 students of Hind Zinc School have secured selection for state-level tournaments, bringing laurels to the school through their impressive performances across various sporting disciplines.
In the Under-14 boys’ Table Tennis competition, the school team secured first place. Students Vihaan Mandora, Mihiti Dhaneja, Somil Maheshwari and Mohit Saini were selected for the state-level competition.
In the Under-14 Rifle Shooting category, Vipra Maheshwari secured first place, while Kavya Puri Goswami finished second. In Under-14 boys’ Badminton, Arshbir Singh Arora earned selection for the state level.
The school also delivered a strong performance in the Under-17 girls’ Badminton competition, with the team securing first place. Janhvi Soni finished first and Aditi Singh secured second place, with both being selected for the state-level competition.
In the Under-17 boys’ Badminton category, the school team secured second place, while Sarthak Rajdev and Aman Malani were selected for the state level. In the Under-19 boys’ Badminton competition, the team also secured second place, with Aarav Surana and Arnav Nawal earning state-level selection.
In Under-17 girls’ Karate, Amarpreet Arora secured first place. In Under-19 boys’ Lawn Tennis, Naushid Khan finished second and was selected for the state-level competition. In the Under-17 girls’ category, Nancy Jaysinghani secured first place and earned state-level selection.
School Principal Dr. Bindu Nair and Vice Principal Naresh Noonia congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. They also appreciated and congratulated Physical Education Teachers Ankit Kharab and Vijay Rao for their dedicated efforts and significant contribution to the students’ sporting success.
