Sri Ganganagar, : Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma visited the residence of the late former minister, Shri Gurjant Singh Barar, in the village of 5 LNP, located in the Sadulshahr constituency of Sri Ganganagar district, to express his condolences on Thursday. After offering his tributes, the Chief Minister also met with the general public.
At the Barar residence, the Chief Minister consoled the grieving family, including Shri Baldev Singh Barar, the son of the late Shri Barar, and his grandson, Sadulshahr MLA Shri Gurveer Singh Barar. He expressed his deep sympathy and stated that the loss of the former minister was irreplaceable. Paying homage to Shri Gurjant Singh Barar, the Chief Minister offered flowers at his portrait and met with the bereaved family members.
Cabinet Minister (Law) Shri Jogaram Patel also paid his respects by offering flowers at the portrait of Shri Barar.
The occasion was attended by several prominent figures, including Ganganagar MLA Shri Jaideep Bihani, District Head (Zila Pramukh) Smt. Kavita Regar, District Collector Dr. Manju, SP Shri Gaurav Yadav, former Union Minister Shri Nihalchand, former Ministers Shri Surendra Pal Singh T.T., former MLA Shri Dharmendra Mochi, Dr. O.P. Mahendra, former MLA Smt. Santosh Bawri, former MP Shri Shankar Pannu, and Municipal Council Chairperson Smt. Gagandeep Kaur Pandey, among others.
After the visit, the Chief Minister left for Jaipur.
