Farkka Express Connecting Ayodhya Commences from Bathinda

In a significant move, the expansion of the Farkka Express connecting Ayodhya to Bathinda has been completed, enhancing regional connectivity. On the occasion of Ganatantra Diwas, MPs Sunita Duggal and Dr. Arvind Sharma flagged off the train from Tohana and Rohtak Railway Station, respectively.

Nihalchand, the MP from Sri Ganganagar, has also advocated for the extension of this train to Sri Ganganagar for better regional connectivity. Bhim Sharma, former member of JRUCC, mentioned that due to yard issues in Sri Ganganagar, the expansion is currently limited to Bathinda.

Train number 13483 Maldah Town to Bathinda Express will run on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday from Rohtak at 6:23 AM, reaching Bhindta at 6:25 AM. The return journey, train number 13484 Bathinda to Maldah Town Express, will depart from Bhindta every Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, and Tuesday at 4:25 PM.

This train brings direct travel opportunities for devotees to Ayodhya and connects distant cities like Delhi through different routes. The North Railways has issued a notification regarding the train's schedule and routes. The move is expected to benefit the local population, providing them with direct access to cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna, and Bhagalpur.
