Cycling Rally Organized for Voter Awareness on Ganganagar Establishment Day

Sriganganagar. On the occasion of Ganganagar Establishment Day (October 26, 2023), a cycling rally was organized for voter awareness and election participation promotion as per the directions of District Collector Mr. Anshdeep.

The rally commenced from the District Council premises, with Mr. Bhavani Singh Panwar, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council, and the Nodal Officer for the SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) program, showing the green flag.

The event saw the active participation of senior secondary students, college students, and members of the Scouts and Guides. The rally, displaying the green flag, was set in motion by a group from the District Council premises. Commissioner of the Municipal Council, Mr. Yashpal Ahuja, and CDEO Mr. Pannalal Kadela motivated the students participating in the rally.

Starting from Gangasagar Chowk, the rally carried the message of voter awareness through various main city routes. On its return to Maharaja Gangasagar Chowk, a brief function was held with arrangements made for light refreshments by the business organizations. On this occasion, Rangoli decorations were also organized by the Women and Child Development department.
