Innovation by Students is the Foundation of a Developed India - Dr. Yadav

A one-day program on entrepreneurship and startup promotion was organized by the Entrepreneurship and Skill Center of Sangam University. The event began with the second meeting of the Governing Board of the ITBI Center granted to Sangam University by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The meeting was attended by Sangam University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Karunesh Saxena, Dr. C.S. Yadav, the Observer from the Department of Technology, New Delhi, Palak Modani from the Sangam Group, Vice Chancellor Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Registrar Prof. Rajeev Mehta, Dr. Abhishek Parikh from Vansathli Vidyapeeth, Mr. Abhyuday Goyal from IIM Udaipur, Dr. Shailendra Pratap Singh from Central University Rajasthan, Dr. Shailesh Patidar, and Kamal Kodwani. The Board’s Secretary and Chief Investigator, Dr. Manoj Kumawat, introduced the board members to the Sangam ITBI through a presentation.  

Palak Modani from the Sangam Group spoke about the group’s commitment to sustaining welfare measures for the youth in the region. The observer Dr. C.S. Yadav and all the board members provided valuable suggestions for the successful operation of this project. At the end of the meeting, the university’s Maker Space, 3D Printing, and Startup Promotion Center were inspected.  

A session on entrepreneurship encouragement and a discussion by young entrepreneurs were also held for students. The entrepreneurship encouragement session was led by Dr. Kalpana Nebhnani and Dr. Tanuja Singh. In the expert discussion, young entrepreneurs like Prashant Parmar from PC Education, Sanjay Soni from Solus Global, Ritwik Joshi from Ability Advocacy, Dr. Priyanka Mehta from Zikku, Kamal Kodwani from KDS Enterprises, and CA Vishal Jain from Techno Line Machines shared their insights. During the discussion, the entrepreneurs spoke about the different stages of starting and running a startup and described the experience as extremely exciting.  

At the end of the program, Dr. Chandrashekhar Yadav, a scientist from DST, New Delhi, discussed the government’s initiatives for promoting innovation in India and advised students to make use of the ITBI center at the university. The event was successfully conducted with the support of the student team—Nikita, Disha, Piyush, Mihika, and Sejal.
