UdaipurA special event was held at Sir Padampat Singhania University today to inaugurate the 'Prerna Abhiyan' and the newly installed rainwater harvesting system. Renowned water conservationist Rajendra Singh inaugurated both the campaign and the water conservation system, emphasizing the importance of water management and sustainable solutions for future generations.
On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prithvi Singh Yadav welcomed the students joining the 'Prerna Abhiyan' and highlighted its role in bridging the university with the broader society. He praised the initiative as a significant step toward addressing critical societal challenges.
City’s water conservation hero and de-addiction advocate, Dr. P.C. Jain, urged students to take up projects under the Prerna Abhiyan focused on addressing the growing issues of water scarcity and substance abuse in the country. He emphasized that these problems could cause severe difficulties in their future if not resolved.
The program was skillfully conducted by Dr. Shweta Lalwani and Dr, Shibani Banerjee who kept the audience engaged throughout the event.
