Free Medical Camp Organized by Time Bank at PMC Hospital

A free medical check-up camp by the Time Bank of India was held at PMC Hospital in Bhilon Ka Bedla, where 72 members received free medical check-ups. 

Group Admin, A.K. Gupta, shared that the event was graced by PMC Hospital Chairman Rahul Agarwal, Executive Director Aman Agarwal, and CEO Sharad Kothari, who were all honored for their support. As per their instructions, a wide range of tests, including blood and urine tests like CBC, lipid profile, kidney and liver tests, thyroid, HbA1c, prostate cancer test (PSA) for men, Vitamin B12, and Vitamin D, were provided for free to all Time Bank members. Additionally, tests such as sonography, X-ray, mammography for breast cancer detection in women of advanced age, ECG, and echocardiogram were conducted, totaling free medical tests worth approximately ₹16,000 for each family.

Dr. M.G. Varshney, Dean of Student Welfare at PMC, in his speech, mentioned that the hospital has 1,100 beds, with 650 doctors and more than 1,500 staff members dedicated to serving patients. The hospital has 7 ICUs, 19 modular OT rooms, and two cath labs. He emphasized that the hospital provides consultations and most treatments for free, with renowned doctors in all departments available for patients.

Professor Dr. Colonel B. Kumar from the Medicine Department, in his lecture, emphasized that leading a simple life can help prevent the vicious cycle of diseases. He advised everyone to live a joyful life together and follow a disciplined daily routine, including regular exercise.

On this occasion, new members of the Time Bank were welcomed. Time Bank State Coordinator M.K. Mathur explained that the Time Bank is designed to provide mutual assistance to senior citizens in need. Time Bank member K.K. Sharma appreciated the PMC management for providing a delicious breakfast and lunch for everyone. Vikram Pokharna played a key role in organizing the camp.
