Udaipur: A meeting was held at the Raj Bhavan in Jaipur under the chairmanship of the Hon'ble Governor, where key issues such as the possibility of a common act for all government-funded universities in Rajasthan, improving university operations, and implementing a fast-track recruitment process were discussed. To address these matters, a high-level committee has been formed for the state.
Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka, Vice-Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, has been appointed as a member of this committee. Along with Dr. Karnataka, the committee includes the Secretary of Higher Education Department of the Rajasthan Government as the convener, along with four other members: the Secretary of Medical Education Department, Secretary of Agriculture Department, Vice-Chancellor of Vardhman Mahavir Open University, Kota, and the Additional Secretary of the Hon'ble Governor, Rajasthan.
