"Certificates Distributed to the Fifth Batch of One-Year Agricultural Input Dealer Course"

Udaipur: On October 21, 2024, a certificate distribution ceremony was held for the fifth batch of the one-year Agricultural Input Dealer Course at the Department of Entomology, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology.

The chief guest, Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka, emphasized in his address that if agricultural input dealers focus on key aspects, they can significantly contribute to establishing new dimensions in Indian agriculture. He highlighted the importance of dealers being observant, guiding, representative, advisory, coordinating, visionary, administrative, and strategic to effectively contribute to the country's development.

During the ceremony, Dean Dr. R.B. Dubey spoke about breeder seeds, while Dr. R.L. Soni, Director of Extension Education, provided information to candidates about the latest agricultural technologies and innovations.

Dr. M.K. Mahla, Associate Professor of Entomology and Course Coordinator, mentioned that currently, 40 candidates from Rajasthan are participating in the one-year Agricultural Input Dealer Course, with a total of 280 candidates benefiting from this program and successfully running their businesses.

Course Coordinator and Head of Department Dr. Ramesh Babu discussed the proper use of pesticides and expressed gratitude to the faculty members and participants. The event was coordinated by Dr. Kapil Dev Ameta, Associate Professor of Horticulture and Assistant Director of Physical Education.
