One-Day Awareness Workshop on NABL Accreditation Concludes

Udaipur, a one-day awareness workshop on NABL accreditation for laboratories was successfully held at the IPM Theatre of the constituent Rajasthan Agricultural College, Udaipur, under Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology.

The chief speaker, Dr. Bhumi Rajguru, highlighted the framework of various programs organized by the NABL institution, the process to obtain accreditation for laboratories, and the significance of the recognition provided by the institution. He extensively discussed the national and global utility of the testing and certification of accredited food and agricultural chemical laboratories. Dr. Rajguru emphasized the importance of providing quality production for a developed India by 2047.

The chief guest, Engineer Kuldeep Singh Rajput, shared insights on quality standards for laboratories and praised the ongoing efforts of NABL in the current era.

The program coordinator, Dr. S.S. Lakhawat, Professor of Horticulture and Assistant Dean of Student Welfare, mentioned that 200 participants, including students from various university colleges, department heads, faculty members, and undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students, participated in the workshop.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. K.K. Yadav, Head of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science, discussed soil quality and health improvement, and expressed gratitude to the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka and the Dean of the College, Dr. R.B. Dubey, for their guidance in organizing the NABL workshop.

The program was conducted by Dr. Amit Dadhich, Associate Professor and Placement Officer in the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, who extended his thanks to all the participants.
