Free Health Check-up Camp Organized in Memory of Mohanlal Sukhadia

Udaipur: In memory of Mohanlal Sukhadia, the architect of modern Rajasthan, a one-day free health check-up camp was organized at Sukhadia University’s campus under the joint auspices of the Faculty of Management Studies, the Red Ribbon Club, and the Consumer Protection Organization, New Delhi. The aim of the camp was to provide health awareness and free medical consultations to students and staff.

The camp offered services such as dental check-ups, eye examinations, BMI testing, blood pressure checks, and blood sugar testing. Additionally, Ayurvedic consultations, occupational therapy, and acupressure therapy were also provided. Expert consultations were given by medical professionals who emphasized the importance of a balanced diet, physical exercise, and mental stress management.

During the camp, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mishra said, "Health is an invaluable asset. Awareness of health in student life will prove to be a milestone in building a healthy and capable society."

Registrar V.C. Garg stated, "Such programs should be organized regularly so that students and staff can benefit from them and perform excellently in their work."

Prof. Meera Mathur, in her address, emphasized, "Healthcare along with education is a hallmark of an excellent educational institution. Healthy students play a vital role in nation-building."

Prof. Hanuman Prasad remarked, "In today's time, awareness about health is extremely important. Events like this provide an opportunity to educate people."

Dr. Rajshri Gandhi, National President of the Consumer Protection Organization, said, "Education, health, and values are the most essential needs today. India is the largest youth country in the world. Focusing on health along with education and values is crucial for building a golden India. Dr. Gandhi also mentioned that in the future, the organization will always be ready to collaborate with the university and 1.3 billion consumers for providing health services."

The camp received special support from Mumbai Dental Clinic, National Optical, Dr. Alpana Bohra, District Coordinator Ashok Kadeja, M.S. Verma, Narpat Singh, Nirmala Garg, Yash Ranawat, and the FMS team.

The successful execution of the program was ensured by Dr. Raja Ram Bhat, Vineet Chobisa, and Advisory Board members of the Consumer Protection Organization, including Pawan Jain Padmawat, Prof. Digvijay Bhatnagar, Prof. Bhanawat, Prof. S. Dhaka, Dr. Alpana Singh, Dr. Ashok Singh, Dr. Prafull Kothari, Jaswant Upadhyay, and others.
