Udaipur, – The Faculty of Education at Mohanlal Sukhadia University observed World Water Day with a series of awareness activities emphasizing the importance of water conservation.
The event was graced by Dr. Alpana Singh, Head of the Faculty of Education, along with faculty members Dr. Sapna Sen and Dr. Nisha Singhvi. The program began with a symbolic worship of the water pump, where female students, carrying traditional water pots, sang devotional songs as they walked to the site for the ritual.
The celebration continued with a mime performance by B.Ed. first-year student Jaswant Singh, a poetry recitation by second-year students, and a short documentary highlighting the urgent need to conserve water.
Dr. Alpana Singh addressed the students, introducing innovative methods and technologies for water conservation. Event coordinators Dr. Nisha Sharma and Mrs. Kiran Ranawat also shared insights on rainwater harvesting and sustainable water usage practices.
The event was anchored by Nehal Jain, a second-year BA B.Ed. student, who kept the audience engaged throughout the program.
