This five-days event that took place in Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) is yet another successful venture by Shri Sandeep Rawal, an acclaimed self-taught artist. Coming from a common non-art family background Sandeep Rawal has stood out by his name much recognized, appreciated and rewarded from various regional and national level art circuits. He is already a noted creative personality among the art communities of Delhi, Gurugram, Punjab, Mumbai and Rajasthan. Besides that, he is popular as an active art promoter and social figure who is continually encouraging the budding creative minds, including disabled and underprivileged children.

'Flamboyant', the artist's ambitious open art display program was certainly a huge effort. Altogether, 135 works of different creative genres were displayed in this event. The event gave space to 90 artists from 18 different countries. Delhi Art International co-hosted the event as a promotion partner. I, myself participated contributing two of my travel photographs. Mostly, the exhibits included Abstract, Thematic, Landscape, Mixed Medium, Spiritual, Portrait and Masterpiece paintings. Among the eminent artists, Padmashree awardee Shri Tilak Gitai was honoured as Chief Guest. Shri Hari Singh Bhatti, Dr. Jagmohan Mathodia, Gopal Swami Khetamchi, Dr. Dharmveer Vashishta, Jitendra Singh, Harishankar Balothia, Ms. Babita Hada and Vijay Verma also graced the program.

Making it more vibrant and authentic, there were live demonstration of the participating artists, TV talk show (hosted by Rakhi Singh, Samachar Plus) and cultural performances. The event concluded with an elaborate award ceremony where each participating artist was felicitated with a trophy and certificate of appreciation. Special trophy of honours were presented to the distinguished guests. Furthermore, through the everyday online and offline promotion as was being done for this event, a few exhibits received willing buyers. One such exhibit was a painting done by Shri Madan Kadela, who is in his terminal stage of cancer.

In his thanking speech, Sandeep Rawal recollected his struggle time and stated that behind every dream, there exists a strong reality to push it ahead towards an achievement. In this event, once again the sensitive artist showed that sole endeavours if they are sincerely supported and encouraged can build up as remarkable examples of success. I believe that such successes are essential in this society as they evolve our potentiality and thus let us deliver something that is outstanding.
