Five-Day Grand Ritual at Dattatreya Temple Begins from 10th

Udaipur : A five-day Shri Shri Dattatreya Temple Murti Pran Pratishtha and Panch Kundiya Mahayagya is being organized from April 10 at Nandeshwar Mahadev Temple, Nai village, by the Shri Nandeshwar Mahadev Mandir Nirman evam Vikas Samiti.

As informed by committee members Bhavanishankar Pujari, Ramesh Ameta, Harivallabh Ameta, and Gunvant Kothari, the event will begin with Hemadri and Prayaschit Snan. At 4 PM, a 108 Kalash Yatra will take place followed by Mandap Pravesh, Brahman Varan, Ganpati Sthapana, Dev Sthapana, and Agni Sthapana rituals.

From April 11 to 13, the program will include various religious ceremonies like Dev Pujan, Dandaka Havan, Rudra Yagya, Chandi Yagya, Murti Nyas, and Mandir Snaan.

On the final day, April 14, a grand Kalash and Shobha Yatra will start at 7 AM from Nora Ghati, Chaukdiya, and Jhalar Bawdi. This will be followed by Kalash Sthapana, Dhwaj Dand Arohan, Murti Pran Pratishtha, and Purnahuti during the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat. A Maha Prasadi will be served at 1 PM.

Shri Mahant Ekadashi Giri stated that nearly 10,000 devotees are expected to participate in this grand event, which will be graced by Awadheshanand Maharaj from Surajkund (Kumbhalgarh).
