Udaipur: Ramesh Siervi Punadia, the Sub-Divisional Officer of Mavli, conducted a surprise inspection of the Mavli Sub-District Hospital in light of the rising temperatures. During the inspection, the officer reviewed the OPD, IPD, free medicine distribution center, and all hospital wards. He interacted with patients in the wards to gather information about their health and ensure their well-being.
Addressing the hospital staff, the Sub-Divisional Officer instructed that no patient should face unnecessary inconvenience. He emphasized that all patients should receive free treatment and medicines, wherever possible, from the hospital itself. He also provided directions to improve the cleanliness of the hospital toilets and ensure timely changes of bed sheets in the wards.
Furthermore, he instructed the Medical In-charge to make adequate arrangements in anticipation of a heatwave, ensuring the availability of desert coolers and water coolers for hospitalized patients. The inspection was attended by Dr. Lal Chand Charan, the hospital in-charge, and Dr. Sanjay Paliwal.
