District-Level Dialogue on Child Protection, Cyber Fraud, and Sickle Cell Disease

Udaipur:  A district-level dialogue on child protection, cyber fraud, and sickle cell disease was organized by ChildFund India at the district headquarters. The workshop was attended by distinguished guests, including District Legal Services Authority Secretary, ADJ Kuldeep Sharma, Child Welfare Commission Member Dhruv Kavia, and Chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee, Yashoda Paniya, along with members Sangeeta Rao and Santosh Kumar from the District Legal Services Authority.

ADJ Kuldeep Sharma provided detailed insights into child protection laws, provisions related to child crimes, and children's rights. He emphasized that protecting children’s rights is a collective responsibility of all and highlighted the need for legal awareness in this area. Santosh Kumar informed participants about the Raj Cop application and raised awareness about cyber fraud and sickle cell disease.

Yashoda Paniya, Chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee, and Sangeeta Rao discussed the legal provisions related to child labor, child marriage, and child abuse, urging society to remain alert and aware for the protection of children's interests. Rural participants also provided suggestions on child protection during the workshop.

The session was managed by Program Manager Ashish Chaudhary, with participation from Ganesh, Bhorilal, Gayatri, and others from ChildFund India.
