Udaipur: On the second day of the NSS Special Camp at CTAE Udaipur, awareness programs were held on water conservation and de-addiction. Dr. P.C. Jain provided students with valuable insights on effective water-saving methods. He emphasized that small daily efforts can contribute to significant water conservation. As part of the awareness initiative, participants brought water from their homes and tested it using a TDS meter, determining which water was more suitable for consumption. To further raise awareness, a water worship ceremony was also conducted.
Later, Dr. Jain discussed the harmful effects of addiction, including smoking, alcohol, and other substance abuse. He highlighted that these habits not only damage health but can also lead to death in many cases. To spread awareness on this issue, students performed a street play, which was appreciated by the audience.
The program was conducted by Dr. Vivek Meena, and at the conclusion, Dr. R.S. Shekhawat expressed gratitude to the guests, students, and organizers. The camp aimed to foster social awareness and a sense of responsibility among students.
Students including Anu Sharma, Bhumi Purohit, Priya Sangwan, Renuka Chaudhary, Hansika Sahu, Kirti Damor, and Seema participated in the water worship ceremony at the college well.
