Udaipur: The executive meeting of the Red Cross Society District Branch Udaipur was held on Wednesday at the Collectorate Hall, chaired by District Collector Namit Mehta. ADM City War Singh was also present at the meeting. The Collector emphasized the need to prioritize public welfare and humanitarian services.
Discussing future activities, the District Collector highlighted the importance of connecting the administration, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and donors (Bhamashah) to offer assistance to those in need. He also urged focusing on providing medical equipment and infrastructure to public hospitals with the help of generous donors. The Collector instructed the preparation of a calendar for upcoming activities for the next fiscal year and the next three months.
Further, Collector Mehta stressed raising awareness among school students and teachers about first aid. He also discussed the central government's *Nishay Mitra Project*, directing a meeting with the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), District Transport Officer, District Education Officer, and the Petrol Dealers Association to plan the project's implementation.
Branch Chairman Dr. Gajendra Bhansali, Honorary Secretary Sunil Gang, Ranveer Singh Mehta, and Vice-President Nakshatra Telesara welcomed the guests. Secretary Gang presented a report on the current two-and-a-half-year tenure, and Dr. Gajendra Bhansali shared information about the new City Center facility. The new site will feature a four-story building with a blood bank, first aid center, diagnostic center, and other services.
