Discussion on Booth-Level Agent Appointments Held

Udaipur: A meeting of political parties from Assembly Constituency-153 Udaipur was held on Wednesday, chaired by the Electoral Registration Officer and Additional District Collector (City), War Singh. The meeting focused on the appointment of Booth-Level Agents (BLA) at all polling centers in the constituency, as per the directives of the Election Department. The appointed BLAs are required to provide signed lists, and several forms related to voter registration and corrections were discussed, including Form-6 for adding names, Form-7 for deleting names, and Form-8 for transfers and corrections.

During the session, the Electoral Registration Officer engaged with representatives from various political parties, discussing election processes and the continuous revision of voter lists. Valuable suggestions were gathered from the attendees. Notable participants in the meeting included Trilok Puriya, Deewalal Salvi, Someshwar Meena, and Ganpat.

In a separate meeting for Udaipur Rural Constituency, chaired by the Electoral Registration Officer and SDM Girwa, Sonika Kumari, political party representatives discussed strategies for improving the EP Ratio and Gender Ratio, as well as appointing Booth-Level Agents at each polling station. The representatives assured full cooperation in the process. Officials from BJP, Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party, and other recognized political parties were present at the meeting.
