Ameta Community Celebrates Holi, Dedication, and Cooperation at Dhulandi Festival

Udaipur: The Ameta community organized a grand ceremony during the Dhulandi festival, emphasizing cooperation, empowerment, and unity. The event included the Bhama Shah and Senior Citizens’ Honoring Ceremony, held in a lively and dignified atmosphere at the Bhama Shah Hall.

The celebration began with the lighting of lamps and the Saraswati Vandana. Senior members of the society and distinguished Bhama Shahs were honored, particularly those who had contributed significantly to the welfare of the community. 

The event was chaired by social worker R.K. Manawat, with the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Rajesh Ameta, the president of the Ladd Ameta Society, and Special Guests Girish Ameta and Chandrakant Ameta. The Treasurer, Narayan Chandra Trivedi, presented the financial report for the year 2024-25. Ravi Ameta, the society's president, highlighted the progress of the community, future plans, and called for a renewed sense of unity and cooperation. 

This year, the Ameta community also made a commitment to focus on environmental sustainability by playing the "Flower Holi" and promoting water conservation. The event concluded with a delightful community feast.

**Honoring Distinguished Bhama Shahs and Senior Citizens**

The ceremony acknowledged the contributions of significant donors and Bhama Shahs with certificates, shawls, and turbans. Among the honored individuals were Chandra Ameta, Jagdish Vyas, Dr. Devendra Ameta, Damini Devi (in memory of late Kanchan Devi and Ramchandra Ji), Pushpalata Ameta, and others.

The Senior Citizens' Honor Ceremony recognized community members aged 85 or more who have lived a long life, providing valuable contributions to the society. Among the honored were Ambalal Ameta (96), Chandrakala Ameta (96), Shyamsunder Vyas (96), and several others.

**Newlywed and Newborn Families Celebrated**

Following the rich traditions of the society, families who had recently married or had children were honored with a special ceremony, showering them with blessings and good wishes, concluding with a shared meal and festivities.
