Demand for Separate Kalyanpur Panchayat Committee from Rishabhdev Submitted to District Collector

Udaipur| As the process of reorganization of Panchayats is underway in the state, local residents and representatives are demanding the formation of new Gram Panchayats and administrative units where necessary. In this context, on Wednesday, local representatives, social workers, and residents from Kalyanpur Gram Panchayat and nearby areas under the Rishabhdev sub-district met with District Collector Namit Mehta, BJP District President, former District President, and State Minister for the Cooperative Wing, among others, to submit a memorandum requesting the formation of a separate Kalyanpur Panchayat Committee, independent from Rishabhdev.

Social worker Pannalal Meena explained that all criteria for the formation of the Kalyanpur Panchayat Committee are being met. Furthermore, due to the growing population and the need for administrative units to be more accessible to the public, the creation of a separate Kalyanpur Panchayat Committee is essential and would benefit the people of the area.

Meena added that District Collector Namit Mehta, BJP leader and State Minister for the Cooperative Wing, Pramod Samar, and others assured positive action regarding the memorandum and the sentiments of the local residents. Earlier, the memorandum was also presented to BJP Rural District President Pushkar Teli and former District President Chandragupt Singh Chauhan. Former Sarpanch Mansharam Parmar, former Mandal President Devi Lal Meena, Mandal President Ishwar Lal Meena, Mandal General Secretary Nahar Singh Meena, and Sarpanch Shankar Lal of Barna were also present during the submission.
