Government to Prepare DPR for the Renovation of Neemach Mata Temple

Udaipur: As part of the state government's budget announcement for 2024-25, a team of officials and engineers conducted a thorough inspection of the Neemach Mata Temple premises, including the climbing path, seating arrangements, and the surrounding area on Wednesday. 

Mayank Kumawat, a young social worker associated with the temple trust, informed that the executive agency, through the tourism department, is currently preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the renovation work. It is noteworthy that the Minister of Devasthan, Zorar Ram Kumawat, had also visited the temple complex recently. 

The inspection was attended by Jatin Gandhi, Assistant Commissioner of the Devasthan Department, Shikha Saxena, Deputy Director of Tourism, Anil Mittal, Assistant Engineer from the Archaeology and Museum Department, Vimal Singhariya, Honey Garhwal from Pidikor Limited, Sunil Meena, Inspector from the Devasthan Department, Gopal Trivedi, Rajendra Singh, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Udaipur North, and Forest Guard Bherulal Gadri. 

Kumawat mentioned that the team was briefed on the current situation, and it was requested that the DPR be developed, keeping in mind the temple's spiritual significance, the convenience of visitors, and environmental considerations, so that work can begin immediately.
