Effective Implementation of the Twenty-Point Program – Collector Mehta

Udaipur. A review meeting of the Twenty-Point Program was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of District Collector Namit Mehta. The meeting, held at the District Council auditorium, focused on reviewing the targets allocated to various departments under the program. District Collector Mehta directed the concerned officials to create action plans in line with the targets and ensure the achievement of 100% of the set goals.

The meeting included discussions on key aspects such as employment creation under MNREGA, the National Rural Livelihood Mission, land distribution to landless individuals, construction of buildings for economically weaker and low-income groups, institutional deliveries, rural road construction, and other important points. Officials were asked to provide a roadmap for achieving these targets. 

District Council CEO Riya Dabi reported that under the MNREGA program, 13,918 job cards were issued in January. A total of 4,35,060 job cards have been issued in the district, with a wage payment of ₹79.98 million in January. In the recent ranking under the Twenty-Point Program, Udaipur district ranked 5th. Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, in January, 22 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) were provided Revolving Funds, and 316 SHGs were given Community Investment Funds. CMHO Dr. Ashok Aditya mentioned that the number of institutional deliveries in January was 4,500. 

ADM Administration, Deependra Singh Rathore, emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to meet the allocated targets in line with the objectives of the Twenty-Point Program. Chief Planning Officer Mahavir Prasad provided information on the departmental targets under the program. Officials from all relevant departments were present at the meeting.
