Udaipur | The five-day Bhupal Jayanti celebrations organized by Lokjan Seva Sansthan commenced with the Panchagavya Abhishek and floral tribute at the statue located in Mohata Park.
Institute President Professor Vimal Sharma informed that, amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras by Dr. Kul Shekhar Vyas, the members of the institute bathed the statue with Panchagavya, applied fragrant oils, and adorned it with a flower garland. The members paid homage, expressing gratitude for Maharana's welfare-oriented deeds.
General Secretary of the Institute, Jaykishan Choubey, mentioned that a poetry symposium would take place on Sunday at 2:30 pm in the Somani Auditorium of Shramjivi Mahavidyalaya. In this event, renowned poets of the city will present their works focusing on Mewar's pride, valor, devotion, and patriotism.
Vice President Indra Singh Ranawat expressed his gratitude. The event was attended by Manohar Lal Mundra, Dr. Ramakant Sharma, Dr. Chain Shankar Dashora, Govind Lal Sharma, Priyanka Singh, Rupali Jain, Om Prakash Mali, Chandraprakash Chittora, Haji Sardar Mohammad, Anandilal Chittora, Laxman Gourna, and other members of the institute.
