Director of West Zone Cultural Centre Observes Theatre Workshop

Udaipur: The 15-day theatre workshop 'Rangmanch,' a joint initiative by the West Zone Cultural Centre Udaipur and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, saw a visit from Dr. Furqan Khan, Director of the West Zone Cultural Centre, and Deputy Director Durgesh Chandwani. They met with the participants of the workshop. Dr. Furqan Khan, in his conversation with the students, explained the purpose and significance of theatre, stating that it not only helps in personality development but also nurtures a morally upright and tolerant individual. He also provided information about the cultural centre and mentioned that such programs contribute to the creation of new artists. 

The event's organizing secretary, Dr. Bhanupriya Rohilla, shared that during the visit, the College Dean Prof. Madan Singh Rathore, Prof. Hemant Dwivedi from the Department of Visual Arts, the program coordinators Dr. Shahid Parvez and Mahendra Singh Purohit, along with skilled trainers Vishal Bhatt and Asif Khan, were also present.

It is noteworthy that the final performance of this workshop will take place on 25th February at the Darpan Auditorium in Shilpgram. Not only university students, but also a faculty member participated in the workshop.
