Collector Reviews Progress of Farmer Registration Camps and Online Girdawari through Video Conferencing

Udaipur: With the aim of providing farmers easy access to central and state government schemes, the Farmer Registration Campaign is ongoing across the state under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma. To review the progress of this campaign in Udaipur district, District Collector Namit Mehta held a video conference with all Sub-Divisional Officers, Tehsildars, and Agriculture Department officials. The meeting focused on reviewing the current status of the Farmer Registration Camps and online Girdawari (crop survey) in the district.

The Collector directed the officials in the areas where progress was lagging compared to the targets to complete the work within the stipulated time frame. He emphasized conducting more surveys with farmers and ensuring that the maximum number of surveys and registrations are completed. He also instructed officials to monitor the camps regularly and ensure that the campaign benefits the farmers in line with the government's objectives. The Collector stressed the importance of collaborating with Agriculture Department personnel to complete the Girdawari process efficiently.

Additionally, the Collector instructed the officials to create more Farmer IDs at the registration camps and organize camps at the Revenue Record Inspectorate headquarters to meet the targets. The meeting was attended by ADM Administration Deepender Singh Rathore, CEO of the District Council Riya Dabi, Sub-Divisional Officer Girwa Sonika Kumari, Trainee IAS Shubham Ashok, Joint Director of the Agriculture Department, and district-level officials from various departments.
