Antakshari Event Organized for Solar Light Distribution Fundraising

Udaipur. Rotary Club Udyam organized an Antakshari event at Rotary Bajaj Bhavan to raise funds for the distribution of solar lights in villages. 

Club President Mekhla Bhoumik and Secretary Manisha Jain mentioned that the unique Antakshari event combined entertainment and social responsibility. The aim was to support the noble cause of solar light distribution. This event raised awareness about sustainable energy solutions and spread joy through music and community participation.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from people of all ages, various Rotary clubs, and business groups. It became a platform that emphasized the importance of renewable energy, especially in areas where electricity is a major issue.

The initiative was organized by Rotary Club of Udaipur Udyam. Among the attendees were former Rotary District Governor Nirmal Singhi, Past District Governor Nirmal Kunawat, nominated District Governor Deepak Sukhadia, Club Advisor Dr. Ritu Vaishnav, and members from various Rotary clubs. International player Kuldeep Singh Rao and Mukesh Madhvani, founder of Suron Ki Mehfil, were also present. The event was judged by an esteemed panel from the music industry, including Narayan Salvi, Kapil Paliwal, and singer Marisha Dixit.

The Project Chairmen were Rotarians Devendra Choudhary, Manish Jain, Deepesh Gurjar, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Hashim Ali, and Prakher Sinyal. The funds and resources collected during the event will be used to distribute solar lights to needy families, providing them with a reliable source of light. 

Akshay Urja Project Director Vaibhav Sharma explained that the Antakshari competition not only entertained the participants but also educated them about the benefits of solar energy, reinforcing the commitment to a greener and brighter future.
