Udaipur. A meeting of the district-level monitoring and coordination committee was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Additional Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Mrs. Gunjan Choubey, for the timely implementation of the food storage scheme as announced in the 2024-25 budget. The committee chairperson, Mrs. Choubey, instructed that the construction of the 500 MT storage godowns under the world's largest food storage scheme should be carried out in accordance with the guidelines issued by the department. She also hoisted the cooperative flag at the Central Cooperative Bank’s headquarters in Pratapnagar, marking the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
During the event, a seminar on the theme ‘Cooperation for Prosperity’ was organized to discuss the effective implementation of departmental schemes.
The meeting was attended by the Regional Audit Officer of Cooperative Societies, Ashutosh Bhatt; Managing Director of Central Cooperative Bank Udaipur, Animesh Purohit; NABARD District Development Manager Udaipur, Neeraj Yadav; Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Lokesh Joshi; Executive Officer of the Bank, Dr. Mehjabeen Bano; and other officials including Rajkumar Khandiya, Dr. Pramod Kumar, Special Auditor of Cooperative Societies, Kautilya Bhatt, Anita Sharma, Vikas Kumar, K.L. Jain, Aarti Ara, K.L. Sharma, Ganpat Soni, and Mukesh Mod.
