Exposure Visit of the Delegation from Kyonjhar Central Cooperative Bank

Udaipur. The delegation from Kyonjhar Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., Odisha, led by the elected President Kanan Bihari Pahi, Vice-President Mrs. Rashmirekha Chakra, and other directors and bank representatives, participated in a seminar organized at Udaipur Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., located in Pratapnagar. The seminar was held to mark the inauguration of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025. The seminar was chaired by Ashutosh Bhatt, Regional Auditing Officer of the Cooperative Department, Udaipur.

Managing Director of the Udaipur Central Cooperative Bank, Animesh Purohit, engaged the delegation in a meaningful discussion on various topics such as the cooperative short-term loan scheme, government and NABARD initiatives, mini bank systems, auditing, inspections, and the bank's financial status. 

President Kanan Bihari Pahi shared insights from Odisha, explaining that the bank’s governing body works with full dedication towards the bank's interests, with staff numbers aligned to the bank's needs. He also highlighted that auditing is directly linked to loan distribution—if the audit is not completed, loan distribution is not permitted within the cooperative. 

The delegation praised Rajasthan's online loan distribution system and suggested its implementation in Odisha. The delegation also toured the bank premises and appreciated the bank's infrastructure. With the spirit of cooperation, both the guest and host banks committed to adopting each other's innovations for the betterment of their respective institutions.

The event was attended by Lokesh Joshi, Assistant Registrar of the Cooperative Department, Udaipur, Special Auditor Kautilya Bhatt, departmental inspectors, and other bank officials and employees.
