Students Informed About Limited and Safe Use of the Internet

Udaipur: On the occasion of Safe Internet Day 2025, a training session was held on the theme "Together for a Better Internet" at the Government Industrial Training Institute, Government Senior Secondary School Residency, and the District Council Hall on Tuesday. Senior Director of NIC, Mazhar Hussain, Scientific Officer Malaram, and District-level Master Trainer Dr. Pranay Joshi conducted the training.

Senior Director Hussain provided detailed information to the students about cybercrimes occurring through the internet. Dr. Joshi described the digital platforms currently in use as an individual's "e-shadow" and shared information on the limited and safe use of the internet. He also advised students and their families to use discretion in protecting themselves from cybercrimes. Malaram elaborated on various techniques used in cyber-attacks, such as phishing and spelling errors. Additionally, K.G. Panei, Deputy Director of the Government Industrial Training Institute, encouraged students to minimize sharing personal information on the internet. 

The Principal of Government Senior Secondary School Residency, Mrs. Ranjana Mishra, also motivated the students, while SWEAP Coordinator Devilal Garg shared his thoughts. Approximately 600 female students from the Government Senior Secondary School Residency, 100 students from the Government Industrial Training Institute, and 100 personnel, public representatives, development officers, and others from the District Council Hall participated in the event. The program began with the unveiling of the Safe Internet Day 2025 poster, and at the end, all participants took a pledge to work together for a better internet.
