Udaipur: The Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, will host a three-day National Conference on the theme "Water Vision 2047" starting from February 17 in Udaipur. The conference will be attended by Union Minister of Jal Shakti Shri C.R. Patil, Rajasthan's Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, along with Chief Ministers, Water Resources Ministers, and officials from various states.
In this regard, a review meeting on the event's preparations was held on Tuesday in the Mini Auditorium of the District Collectorate, chaired by District Collector Namit Mehta.
During the meeting, the Collector gave instructions to ensure proper arrangements for general facilities, food, accommodation, protocols, sanitation, cultural programs, security, route charts, and other logistics. He emphasized that the hospitality extended to guests should reflect the traditions of Mewar, ensuring no shortcoming in welcoming the attendees, and all department officers should coordinate well to make the event a success.
The Collector also provided detailed guidelines for ensuring necessary arrangements for VVIPs, proper transport for dignitaries, establishing a help desk, ensuring arrangements at the airport, setting up a VVIP safe house at the event venue, publicity, emergency phone numbers, and necessary medical facilities.
The meeting was attended by District Police Superintendent Yogesh Goyal, ADM Administration Deependra Singh Rathore, ADM City Warsingh, Municipal Commissioner Ramprakash, UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, IAS probationers Madhav Bhardwaj, Sonika Kumari, Additional Chief Engineer Rishabh Jain from the Water Resources Department, and officials from various other departments.
