Sumita Saroach to Take Charge of Udaipur Tourism Department

Udaipur. Senior officer and Joint Director of the Tourism Department, Sumita Saroach, will take charge of the Udaipur Tourism Department. This responsibility has been assigned to her by the Joint Secretary of the Tourism Department, as per official orders. Following this new role, Saroach stated that every possible effort will be made to take Udaipur, a city with a unique identity in the tourism sector on the global stage, to new heights in line with the state government’s goals. She also mentioned that, given the immense enthusiasm of tourists, efforts will be made to develop Udaipur and its surrounding areas as major tourism destinations.

Currently serving as Joint Director at the Tourism Department headquarters in Jaipur, Saroach has been appointed to the Regional Tourism Office in Udaipur as part of the work arrangement for her new position. According to the department’s order, she will officially take over Udaipur's charge after the IIFA event, which concludes on 10th March.

It is worth mentioning that Sumita Saroach, a senior officer of the Rajasthan Tourism Service, has previously served in Udaipur. Her extensive experience will be beneficial for the development of tourism in Udaipur.
