Udaipur: On Monday evening, District Collector Namit Mehta held a meeting with all district-level officials at the District Council auditorium.
During the meeting, Mr. Mehta got acquainted with the officers and reviewed the progress of departmental schemes. He mentioned that Udaipur is a leader in tourism and several other areas. He emphasized that Team Udaipur will work with mutual coordination to take the city to greater heights. He also highlighted that the officers must work diligently to ensure that the benefits of central and state government welfare schemes reach every eligible person.
Mr. Mehta discussed the preparations for the Farmer Registration Campaign, set to begin on February 5. He stated that the camps during the campaign should be organized systematically according to the prescribed guidelines, and all relevant departments should carry out their responsibilities with utmost seriousness to ensure the farmers are benefitted as intended by the government.
The meeting was attended by ADM (Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore, ADM (City) War Singh, CEO of the District Council Riya Dabi, Municipal Commissioner Ramprakash, UDA Secretary Hemendra Nagar, Girwa SDM Trainee IAS Sonika Kumari, Trainee IAS Shubham Kumar, Madhav Bhardwaj, and other departmental officials.
**Office Inspection and Interaction with Staff**
Before the meeting, District Collector Mr. Mehta inspected the Collectorate office. He reviewed the operations of various branches, including the Establishment Branch, General Branch, and Revenue Branch, as well as the offices of ADM (Administration) and ADM (City). During this inspection, he interacted with the staff and gathered information about the ongoing work.
