Law students learn about solar cookers and water conservation

Arvind Nagar, Dr. Manju Jain, a solar cooker expert who has been using solar cookers to prepare food for the past 40 years, shared her knowledge with the law students of Mohanlal Sukhadia University’s Law College. She explained how a solar cooker works and emphasized that it can be a blessing for working women, especially when they are busy with court work. She shared that she regularly cooks dishes like dal bati, vegetable curries, and more using the solar cooker. Dr. Jain mentioned that when the students come home exhausted from court, the solar cooker will provide them with hot, pure, and nutritious food.

The students asked Dr. Jain various questions about the uses of the solar cooker. At the same time, water conservation expert Dr. P.C. Jain spoke about the rainwater harvesting system installed at his home. He stressed the importance of preparing for the upcoming rains and saving rainwater to prevent it from going to waste.

The event was attended by Adv. Parijat Mishra, Mohammad Ansar, Mohammad Sahil, Bhavyata Yadav, Chitra Joshi, Priyanka Paliwal, Rashi Khuntwal, Aftab Khan, Jai Bagdi, Tamanna Anjum, Anjana Mali, Anuradha Mali, Raghav Sharma, and other students from the Law College of Mohanlal Sukhadia University.
