District Program Implementation Committee and Eklavya Model School Execution Committee Meeting

Udaipur: The District Program Implementation Committee and the Eklavya Model School Execution Committee meetings under the Tribal Area Development (TAD) Department were held on Thursday at the Mini Auditorium of the Collectorate, under the guidance of the District Collector.  

During the meeting, TAD Deputy Commissioner, Mrs. Ragini Damor, took detailed information and provided necessary directions.  

The meeting discussed the Forest Rights Act (FRA) land allotments with the DFO Wildlife and DFO North. It was decided to resolve the pending cases promptly. Detailed information was obtained regarding various repair works being carried out by executing agencies like PWD, PHED, Marketing Board, and Swachh Project. The officials were instructed to complete all works on time.  

There was also a discussion on the progress reports related to solar pumps, Prime Minister Adarsh Gram Yojana, hybrid seeds, and other projects under the Tribal Department. The officials were directed to expedite the generation of Aadhar IDs for all children in the Maa Baadi Centers and residential schools.  

Further discussions covered several issues, including the electricity connections and drinking water facilities at hostels and Maa Baadi Centers, the process of new U-DIAS portal filing regarding grants received from SAMSA for Maa Baadi Centers, the distribution of free hybrid vegetable seeds to tribal farmers, progress on the Rabi crops for 2024-25, and the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) scheme. The construction progress of the Rajkiya Tribal Ashram Hostels at Daya and Agad, major repairs at the Rawaich Hostel, boundary wall construction for the Kurabad Girls Hostel, and dormitory construction in 13 Ashram hostels were also reviewed.  

The meeting also focused on the effective operation and supervision of Eklavya Model Residential Schools, and the officials were given necessary guidelines.  

Present at the meeting were Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) Sudhir Verma, Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Dr. Kamlesh Rajwania, Dr. JP Agarwal from the Horticulture Department, Chief District Education Officer Mahendra Jain, Additional District Education Officer TAD Dr. Amrita Dadhich, along with other departmental officers and principals of the model schools.
