76th Urs of Hazrat Ganj Shahida Baba Concludes with the Ritual of ‘Kull’

Udaipur: The 76th three-day Urs of Hazrat Ganj Shahida Baba, held at the dargah on the Ambavgarh hill in Udaipur, concluded on Wednesday evening after the Asr prayer with the traditional ritual of 'Kull.'

Mohsin Haider informed that, as in previous years, this year too, the Urs was celebrated with great fervor. Over the past three days, various religious programs were organized, including the recitation of Kalame-Pak, Quran Khwani, Mehfil-e-Milad, and Mehfil-e-Sama (Qawwali).

Devotees from different communities, including Hindus and Muslims, from Udaipur and surrounding regions, offered flowers, garlands, perfumes, and chadar sharif at the Astana-e-Aliya. Specially prepared Doodh-Daliya (milk porridge) was distributed as tabarruk to fulfill vows made by devotees. Throughout the three days, the management committee of the dargah arranged langar for all visitors in the morning and evening.

Ghulam Moinuddin Qadri Raja Bhai, president of the Dargah Committee, shared that after the Zohar prayer on Wednesday, renowned Qawwals Rafiq Mastana Warsi and Mastana Akhlaq Sultani from Udaipur performed soulful kalam, including “Abre Rahmat Barasne Lage Hai Urs Ganj Shahida Chal Raha Hai,” “Zikr Haider Ka Sunayenge Data Ganj Shahida Aayenge,” and “Nasiba Khol De Mera Madad Kar Ganj Shahida.” Their renditions filled the atmosphere with devotion and reverence.

Special guest Qawwal Yusuf Farooq Sabri from Jaora, Madhya Pradesh, enthralled the audience with hamd, naat, and manqabat in honor of the saints.

Before the final Fateha Khwani, Rang and Salato Salam were recited, followed by Fateha led by Maulana Babul Hussain. Prayers were offered for peace and harmony in the country, national progress, and communal brotherhood.
