Udaipur: A review meeting to assess the preparations for the upcoming events marking the first anniversary of the state government's current term was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of District Collector Arvind Poswal at the mini conference hall of the Collectorate.
During the meeting, District Collector Poswal directed all district officials to give top priority to the events being organized for the state government's anniversary. He emphasized that all officers should carry out their responsibilities diligently and ensure the success of the events with full dedication. The Collector informed that on December 9, as part of the state-level Rising Rajasthan Summit, a district-level event will also be held. Additionally, on December 12, a "Run for Developed Rajasthan" marathon will take place in the morning at Fatehsagar Lake. This will be followed by a district-level Employment Festival at the Town Hall, organized in the presence of Minister in charge, Hemant Meena, and all public representatives. The program will include a live broadcast of the state-level event, along with the felicitation of newly appointed government employees at the local level. The launch of the District Development Handbook and the opening of a district-level exhibition will also be part of the event.
The District Collector took updates from the respective nodal departments regarding the preparations and provided necessary guidance. He also instructed all departments to work in a coordinated manner to ensure the success of the events. Poswal further mentioned that on December 13, a district-level Farmer’s Conference will be held, followed by a District Antyodaya Service Camp on December 15. On December 17, district and panchayat-level events will be organized as part of the state-level main celebrations in Jaipur.
**State-Level Women’s Conference to be Held in Udaipur**
The District Collector also informed that a state-level Women’s Conference will be held on December 14 at Gandhi Ground, Udaipur, in the presence of the Chief Minister. The event will include the distribution of scooters to girls, scholarships to 32,000 college students, the launch of a women’s helpline app for police assistance during emergencies, the inauguration of the distribution of 10,000 electric cooking systems, and the commencement of the RSRTC’s security command center and panic button project. Poswal instructed to ensure maximum public participation in the event and also directed all departments to set up exhibitions at the venue to share information about their schemes and activities. A detailed event plan will be prepared by the UDA through this process.
The meeting was attended by ADM City War Singh, UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ram Prakash, Zila Parishad CEO Hemendra Nagar, ACEO Anjum Tahir, and other district-level officials from various departments.
