Udaipur: A Vatsal Dialogue was organized at Government Higher Secondary School, Sukher, in collaboration with Udaipur Range Police and UNICEF to raise awareness on child protection issues. The event was chaired by Additional Superintendent of Police (Women’s Crime and Research Cell) Hitesh Mehta.
During the dialogue, Additional SP Hitesh Mehta invited the children to visit the office of the Additional Superintendent of Police and the Sukher police station, offering them an opportunity to learn about police operations. He provided detailed information about various forms of child abuse occurring through the internet and advised children not to share personal data on mobile phones. Mehta also educated the children about traffic rules, urged them to follow them, stay away from drugs, and encouraged them to report any sale of narcotic substances near their schools to the police.
UNICEF’s Child Protection Advisor, Mrs. Sindhu Binujit, interacted with the children and explained the concept of safe and unsafe touch in detail. She also provided information about child helpline 1098, cyber helpline 1930, and other support services.
Principal Sharad Parik expressed gratitude at the conclusion of the event.
