Udaipur: District Collector Arvind Poswal chaired a meeting of all district-level officials at the Mini Conference Hall of the Collectorate on Wednesday. The meeting was held to review the preparations for the proposed review meeting of Udaipur and Banswara divisions, which will be chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant on November 23. During the meeting, the District Collector discussed the agenda points and instructed all relevant officials to attend the Chief Secretary's meeting with updated information and on time.
The District Collector reviewed the agenda of the proposed meeting, focusing on key points and department-wise progress using a PowerPoint presentation. He discussed several topics, including good governance, public hearings, e-filing, surprise inspections of offices, timely disposal of cases registered on the Contact Portal, implementation and progress of the Chief Minister’s budget announcements, the Jal Jeevan Mission, health services, Ayushman Bharat, and other issues. The Collector directed the officials to ensure the prompt resolution of all pending cases, especially those older than 30 days, on the Contact Portal. He also emphasized completing all tasks through e-filing and reducing the average time for file resolution.
The meeting was attended by Municipal Commissioner Ramprakash, Additional District Collector (Administration) Deependrasingh Rathore, ADM City Warsingh, CEO District Council Hemendra Nagar, DIG Stamp Rajeev Dwivedi, and other departmental officials.
**Ensure Success of the Government’s First Anniversary Program**
District Collector Poswal also discussed preparations for the upcoming program marking the completion of one year of the state government on December 12. He reviewed the preparations for the development exhibition and the publication of the District Darshan booklet, organized by the Information and Public Relations Department, with Joint Director Dr. Kamlesh Sharma and PRO Vinay Sompura. He instructed all departments to promptly provide the required information and photographs of the government's achievements over the past year to the Information and Public Relations Department for inclusion in the exhibition and booklet.
**Panch Gaurav Program to Be Held:**
During the meeting, the District Collector mentioned that the Panch Gaurav festival would be celebrated on the occasion of the government's first anniversary. He informed that the festival would highlight five key elements under the themes "One District, One Product," "One District, One Sport," "One District, One Species," "One District, One Fruit," and "One District, One Destination." He directed the officials from the industries, sports, forestry, horticulture, and tourism departments to prepare detailed notes (in Word file format) along with high-quality photographs for each selected element. These documents should be submitted to the Information and Public Relations Department of Udaipur by November 22, 2024.
