Udaipur’s Grandeur and Culture Enchant Brazilian Rotary Team

Udaipur: A 12-member Rotary team from Brazil, visiting Udaipur under the Rotary International Friendship Exchange program, was warmly welcomed in a traditional Indian manner by the Rotary Club Elite at a private resort today. The team was deeply moved by the Indian cultural traditions and hospitality. As part of the program, a flag exchange ceremony took place between the Brazilian team and the Rotary Club Elite.

Carla, a member of the 10-member Brazilian team, expressed how Udaipur's Mewar culture and heritage had captivated the entire team. She praised the Indian traditions as the finest in the world. The team acknowledged the power of Rotary in facilitating such exchanges, where Rotary members from one country visit another, allowing for cultural exchange and mutual understanding.

Rotary Club Elite President Akshay Jain shared that the Brazilian team had been taken on a tour of Jagmandir and also participated in a morning yoga session at Saheliyon Ki Bari. Later, the team enjoyed a run at Fatehsagar Lake to stay fit and healthy.

Former District Governor Nirmal Singhi extended his best wishes to the team and mentioned that a team from the Rotary District would soon visit Brazil. Past District Governor Dr. Nirmal Kunawat also conveyed his good wishes for the team's bright future.

The event turned into a lively cultural exchange as members of the Brazilian team and the Rotary Club Elite danced to songs from both countries, making the occasion feel like a family celebration. Everyone had a great time enjoying the music and dance. Coordination between the teams was handled by Kapoor C. Jain.

The event was attended by several Rotary Club Elite members, including Secretary Prashant Sharma, Sudhir Duggar, Sarita Duggar, Ramesh Modi, Hitesh Gandhi, Satish Jain, Nitesh Sanwaria, Palash Vaishya, Madhu Sareen, Assistant District Governor Bhavya Garg, Mukesh Gurani, and Kapoor C. Jain. The program was conducted by Ramesh Modi. As a token of appreciation, the team was presented with mementos from the Rotary Club Elite.
