Udaipur; On the occasion of the Prakash Purab (birthday celebration) of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, the Akhand Path Sahib commenced at Vaikunth Dham, Shakti Nagar, on Wednesday.
Guruji Shailesh Brijwani of Vaikunth Dham informed that a large number of devotees gathered to participate in the celebration. The three-day long Akhand Path Sahib of Guru Granth Sahib, along with the Akhand Havan, began on 13th November at Vaikunth Dham, Shakti Nagar, marking the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
As per Guruji Shailesh Santkumar Brijwani, the celebrations began with early morning rituals. On 13th November, the morning session started at 7:30 AM with the Asadiwar Katha, followed by Havan Puja at 9:00 AM. The Arti and Ardas were conducted, and the Akhand Path Sahib began thereafter. The evening session included the Sakhi Women’s Satsang from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, followed by the evening Arti at 7:00 PM.
On 14th November, the rituals continued with the Asadiwar Katha at 7:00 AM, followed by the Akhand Path Sahib, Arti, and Ardas. The evening session again included the Sakhi Women’s Satsang from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, and the Arti at 7:00 PM.
The final day, 15th November, began with the Asadiwar Katha at 7:00 AM and the Bhog Ceremony at 7:45 AM. The Purna Ahuti (final offering) will be made at 11:00 AM, followed by Arti and Ardas. The celebrations will conclude with the Langar Sahib and distribution of prasad.
Devotees attending the event at Vaikunth Dham on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Purab expressed their deep faith and reverence by listening to Guru Ji’s teachings and participating in the rituals.
