The Udaipur Rural District Congress Committee and Udaipur City District Congress Committee observed the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by paying floral tributes to his portrait today.
Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, spokesperson of the Udaipur Rural District Congress Committee, shared that the ceremony was held at the Rural District Congress office in Surajpol. A gathering was organized to honor Nehru's contributions as the architect of modern India. During the event, Congress leaders recalled his pivotal role in shaping the nation’s growth and development. The attendees pledged to draw inspiration from Nehru's life and vowed to incorporate his ethical values into their own lives.
Present at the gathering were Dr. Mahesh Tripathi, Bhupendra Singh Chauhan, Shanta Prince of the Women’s Congress, Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, Mohammad Khan, Ratan Lal Poorbia, Moti Lal Suthar, former councilor Madan Singh Babarwal, Gopal Sarpata, Lakshmi Lal Soni, and Suresh Tarathi. The session was conducted by Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, and the vote of thanks was given by former councilor Madan Singh Babarwal.
Meanwhile, the Udaipur City District Congress Committee also marked the occasion by offering floral tributes to Pandit Nehru's portrait. The ceremony was attended by Udaipur City District Congress President Fateh Singh Rathore, Udaipur City District Congress Organization Secretary Arun Tank, Block Congress President Someshwar Meena, Ajay Singh, Councilor Hidayatulla, Mohammad Ayub, Amit Suhalka, and Rajesh Solanki.
