Rotary Club Udaipur Celebrates Diwali with Music and Fellowship

The Rotary Club Udaipur hosted a Diwali Sneh Milan (Diwali Fellowship) event today at the Rotary Bajaj Bhawan, filling the evening with the melodies of music and festive cheer.

Club President Anil Chhajed shared that the Rotary building and its premises were beautifully decorated with lights and diyas. He extended a warm welcome to all the guests on the occasion of Diwali. Former President, Rotarian Padam Dugar, started the event with a devotional prayer.

The program began with a captivating Ganesh Vandana, performed by Manmohan Bhatnagar, a music teacher from Alok School. His performance won the hearts of everyone present. This was followed by a special Diwali song presentation by former President Rotarian Dr. Pradeep Kumawat. Another highlight was a ghazal performance by former President Rotarian U.S. Chohan.

The event was hosted by Rotarians Sangeeta Chhajed and others, who kept the atmosphere lively with Housie and several fun games.

A new member, Nalin Gupta, was inducted into the club, with former District Governor Rotarian Nirmal Singhi administering the oath of membership. Club President Anil Chhajed introduced the new member to everyone.

The evening culminated with a grand dinner, where 110 members and their families participated. The event was held in the pleasant outdoor lawn of Rotary Bajaj Bhawan, with a refreshing atmosphere.

Rotary Club Secretary, Dr. Bharat Sarupia, and Mrs. Vaidehi Sarupia greeted all the members at the beginning of the event.
