 Rajasthan Dominates National Lacrosse Championship

Udaipur– In a remarkable display of talent, players from Rajasthan claimed three out of four titles at the inaugural Federation Cup and the second Junior National Lacrosse Championship held in Agra under the auspices of the Lacrosse Federation of India.

Over the three-day competition, athletes from across the country showcased their skills, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for victory. According to Ashok Pranami, President of the Rajasthan Lacrosse Association, and Secretary Imran Khan, the Rajasthan teams, trained by coach Neeraj Batra, performed exceptionally well. The women’s team triumphed after defeating Uttar Pradesh in the quarter-finals, Chhattisgarh in the semi-finals, and Haryana in the final. Similarly, the men’s team overcame Maharashtra in the quarter-finals, Andhra Pradesh in the semi-finals, and Haryana in the final, securing both Federation Cup titles.

In the Junior National competition, the junior girls' team from Rajasthan also made waves by beating Haryana in the quarter-finals, Andhra Pradesh in the semi-finals, and Goa in the final, earning the championship title for the second consecutive year. The junior boys' team finished in third place.

Outstanding individual performances were noted, with Mohanlal Gameti being the top scorer in the senior men’s category, Jula Kumari Gurjar in the senior women’s category, and Dali Gameti in the junior girls' category.

Leaders from various sectors, including Tribal Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Vallabhnagar MLA Udaylal Dangi, Udaipur-Banswara Division Commissioner, and Tribal Development Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, along with team sponsor Rajasthan Mines and Minerals Limited's Commissioner Bhagwati Prasad Kalal, expressed their congratulations and pride in Rajasthan's achievements.

The winning Rajasthan teams featured:

**Senior Women’s Team:** Captain Sunita Meena, Jula Kumari Gurjar, Vishakha Meghwal, Hemlata Dangi, Dali Gameti, Yashistha Batra, Meera Douza, Mukun Kumari Gurjar, Preeta Kunwar Rathore, Ganga Gameti, and Meera Buz.

**Senior Men’s Team:** Mohan Lal Gameti, Neeraj Batra, Khumaram Gameti, Dayashankar Gameti, Kishan Lal Gameti, Pranay Tripathi, Mukesh Gameti, Rajesh Gameti, and Bhagwati Lal Gameti.
