### Maharana Pratap: A Pioneering Force in India's Freedom Movement- Saxena

Udaipur . A lecture series was organized at the Government Meera Girls College in Udaipur as part of the Divar Victory Festival. The chief speaker, Anurag Saxena, Director of the Pratap Gaurav Center, delivered a talk based on historical evidence regarding Maharana Pratap's campaign at Divar.

Saxena emphasized that Maharana Pratap's legacy should not be confined to Mewar and Rajasthan but recognized as a significant motivating force in the entire Indian freedom struggle. He countered narratives that downplay Pratap's contributions, highlighting his courageous and decisive victories at the battles of Haldighati and Divar. Saxena pointed out that Pratap was never defeated, continuously achieving victories in his campaigns. He detailed Pratap's triumph over the Mughal forces at Haldighati and the strategic victories at Divar, which pushed Mughal troops back to Ajmer.

### A Visionary Administrator  
Saxena refuted the portrayal of Maharana Pratap as weak compared to Akbar, emphasizing his relentless spirit and administrative prowess. He discussed Pratap's significant achievements, presenting him as a visionary leader.

### Natural Relations with Tribal Communities  
Saxena noted Pratap's original name, Rana Kika, and highlighted his natural alliance with the tribal communities of Mewar. He stated that these communities provided steadfast support in every struggle, contributing greatly to Pratap's military successes.

### Inspiring Stories and Songs by Students  
During the lecture series, students from the college presented inspiring anecdotes and songs related to Maharana Pratap. The college principal, Prof. Deepak Maheshwari, welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of the lecture series. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Principal Prof. Manoj Baharwal of the Government College, Dr. B.D. Barahath from Usen, Dr. Vinita Rajpurohit, faculty member Dr. Ashok Soni, and a large number of students.
