Udaipur, The 28th State-Level Bhamashah Award Ceremony, set to take place in Udaipur for the first time, is in its final stages of preparation. The department has released the list of 31 individuals and organizations to be honored with the Education Honoree Award at the ceremony.
Mahendra Kumar Jain, Nodal Officer for the state-level event and Joint Director (School Education), informed that preparations for the successful conduct of the ceremony were finalized on Wednesday. He stated that during the academic session 2023-24, 31 Bhamashahs who donated one crore rupees or more to government schools across various districts of the state will be honored with the Education Honoree title. The list of these distinguished donors has been released.
Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited Recognized as Top Donor
Jain highlighted that the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, Rawatbhata (Rajasthan), has been recognized as the largest donor, contributing a substantial amount of ₹14.11 crore. Additionally, 30 other donors have contributed amounts exceeding one crore rupees to government schools. Notable contributors include:
Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited with ₹8.73 crore.
Modison Charitable Trust, Mumbai, with ₹8.50 crore.
Temple Board Nathdwara with ₹6.97 crore.
QRJ Foundation, Alwar, with ₹5.72 crore.
Gautam R. Morarka, Uttar Pradesh, with ₹3.78 crore.
SM Sehgal Foundation, Gurgaon, with ₹3.52 crore.
Haldiram Educational Society, New Delhi, with ₹3.44 crore.
Jeev Jatan Jan Kalyan Trust, West Bengal, with ₹2.75 crore.
Gopal Rathi, Bhilwara, with ₹2.63 crore.
Hindustan Zinc Limited, Hurdha Bhilwara, with ₹2.15 crore.
Ravindra Herius Private Limited, Udaipur, with ₹2.13 crore.
Natwar Lal Purohit, Sirohi, with ₹2.05 crore.
Shankar Lal Pitliya, Bhilwara, with ₹2.01 crore.
Hindustan Zinc Limited, Kayad Mines, Ajmer, with ₹1.80 crore.
HDFC Bank Limited, Jaipur, with ₹1.74 crore.
Other contributors include RHI Magnesita India Limited, Zinc Smelter Debari Udaipur, Wonder Cement Limited, Jaipur Round Table Trust, Udaipur Round Table Trust, and several more, each contributing amounts exceeding one crore rupees.
Jain announced that the state-level ceremony on September 1 will honor these Bhamashahs with the Education Honoree title.
