Ensure the Benefit of Government Schemes Reaches Every Eligible Individual: Shreya Guha

Udaipur: Shreya Guha, the Additional Chief Secretary of Transport and In-charge Secretary of Udaipur district, assessed the progress of the 'Developed India Resolve Yatra' camps in the district on Thursday. During the inspection, she directed to ensure maximum public participation in the camps and instructed officials to connect every eligible individual with the government's welfare schemes.

Guha, the in-charge secretary, arrived at Girwa Panchayat Samiti in the morning, where she was welcomed by Upkhand Officer Girwa, Sushri Riya Dabi, Development Officer Gajraj Menaria, and Sarpanch Pyaridevi Katara, among others. Shreya Guha reviewed the departmental stalls set up at the camp. District Nodal Officer and CEO of the District Council, Kirti Rathore, provided information about the services available at the camp. The in-charge secretary visited each departmental stall and collected feedback from officials regarding the beneficiaries' involvement in the schemes.

Guha also interacted with the beneficiaries present at the camp. She checked the Gram Sabha register to ensure community participation at the camp. Furthermore, she instructed all officials to strive for maximum inclusion of people in government schemes, enlightening them about the 'Developed India' initiative.

Later in the day, Guha proceeded to Peepalvas camp. She was welcomed by Sarpanch Atli Devi Bhagora and other local dignitaries. She inspected departmental counters and gathered information from officials. In Peepalvas, under the short-term cooperative crop loan scheme, Prabhudas received a check of INR 42,800, while Bada Gameti and Bhera Gameti each received checks of INR 15,000. Guha also honored the winners of the organic farming poster competition, Meena and Anita.

During the visit, she honored Devi Lal Bhagora and Daula, son of Nakia, for organic farming, and acknowledged the achievements of players Mangilal and students Deepak and Sushila. Various district-level officials from all departments, along with a large number of local representatives and rural residents, were present during this event.
