Unauthorized Encroachments Removed from Main Road Leading to Royal Raj Vilas

Udaipur : In a continuous effort to facilitate smooth ingress and ensure unhindered traffic, the Udaipur Development Authority, under the guidance of Regional Commissioner Rajendra Bhatt and District Collector Arvind Poswal, has been actively addressing encroachments in the district. On Wednesday, led by Secretary Rajesh Joshi of the Udaipur Development Authority, a joint operation was carried out by Land Acquisition Officer Manasukh Damor and Tehsildar Ranjeet Singh Vithu to remove encroachments from the main road leading to Royal Raj Vilas, situated in the RK Circle.

Secretary Joshi explained that the agricultural and converted land adjacent to the main road, leading to Royal Raj Vilas from RK Circle, was encroached upon illegally by the holders of the land. Unauthorized cabins, tin sheds, hoardings, and other structures were erected by these landholders, causing obstruction to the road authority and leading to traffic congestion. Approximately 35 to 45 hoardings, cabins, stalls, ramps, etc., were removed during this operation. Additionally, shop owners were restricted from encroaching on the road authority in the future. The operation was conducted in the presence of Land Record Inspectors Chirantan Sharma, Ganpat Sharma, Rajesh Mehta, Patwari Surpal Singh Solanki, and Home Guard personnel.
