Under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Meera, Udaipur, "Saral Classes" were launched at Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School in Dhanmandi. The inaugural event took place on Saturday.
During the ceremony, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, spokesperson of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee and convener of the Mahatma Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti, addressed the students. He highlighted the Rajasthan government's efforts to provide necessary infrastructure facilities and promote education for all. The government is committed to expanding education and ensuring the availability of qualified teachers at various levels.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School to provide quality education in English medium to students from underprivileged backgrounds. The state government has implemented initiatives such as the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence, which offers 500 youths the opportunity to study abroad free of cost. The Anupreeti scheme provides free coaching for competitive exams, and innovative programs like nine bag days on Saturdays promote creativity in education. Recognizing the importance of e-education, smart classes are being conducted in government schools across the state. The government also implements schemes like free uniform distribution and the Mukhyamantri Bal Gopal Yojana to ensure the nutritional well-being of children.
During the event, students who achieved excellent results at the school, including Laviska Khatik, Monika Sahu, Pranjal Sahu, Dev Gorana, Himanshi Yadav, Gitanjali Barman, and Divyangini Jhala, were honored with Gandhi Topis, Uparnas, Soot Garlands, and mementos. Their achievements were acknowledged, and they were wished a bright future.
