Legal Awareness Program Organized

Udaipur: Under the direction of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority and the guidance of District Legal Services Authority President and District and Sessions Judge, Gyanprakash Gupta, a Legal Awareness Program was held on Monday at Dr. Anushka Law College. The program was chaired by the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, ADJ Kuldeep Sharma.

During the program, ADJ Sharma informed the law students about their rights. The students were made aware of various important issues such as the "Stop Child Marriage" campaign, free legal aid under Article 39A of the Constitution, ongoing campaigns by the District Legal Services Authority Udaipur, the NALSA Helpline 15100, the POCSO Act, Cyber Laws, Traffic Rules, and more. Legal Aid Defense Council members, Ms. Prerna Avchar and Krishna Vaishnav, also provided information on the provisions of the POSH Module 2013, the LSUM Scheme 2024, and the LSSC Scheme 2024.

On this occasion, Rajeev Surana from Dr. Anushka Law College welcomed ADJ Sharma, and the founder, S.S. Surana, expressed his gratitude.
